Intervention & installation by Dr D and Disobedient

Disobedient worked with street artist Dr.D, known for his billboard cut n paste modifications and subversive poster takeovers, to create and install three new works over the weekend.

One is a billboard takeover on Hackney Road, the second a paste up/ installation on Shoreditch High Street and the third is the use of online advertising platforms to 'hijack' space with fake banner and text adverts linking you to a dedicated website.

Both works feature media tycoon Rupert Murdoch with the wording of Sky, the satellite broadcasting company, changed to Sly as well as altering their tag line from 'Believe In Better' to ' Believe in Bitter'. The Shoreditch High Street work also saw the the artists install a satellite dish spray with the altered 'Sly' logo. The website which has been created suggests that 'At Sly, we listen to you. All the time'.
